Little Ocmulgee State Park & Lodge
RESERVATIONS: 229-868-7474
Little Ocmulgee State Park’s well-stocked freshwater lake is a paradise for sport fisherman and a great place for relaxing.
It is abundant with bass, bluegill, crappie, bowfin, gar, pickerel, and catfish. Hidden in the lake’s tannic, grass-filled waters are some of the best bass fishing opportunities you will find in Georgia.
A concrete boat ramp is available for launching boats.
The Wildlife Resources Division (WRD) of Georgia DNR provides rods, reels and tackle box equipment to participating State Parks and Historic Sites Offices, including Little Ocmulgee State Park. Interested visitors can inquire at the park office and check out the equipment for the day. This program provides a way for budding anglers to try fishing without having to purchase any equipment. However, a valid Georgia fishing license is required for anglers age 16 or older.
