In addition to golf, guests at Little Ocmulgee State Park & Lodge enjoy sun-soaked days swimming in the private pool, gathering within a picnic shelter and enjoying the 265-acre Little Ocmulgee Lake through swimming, boating or fishing.
Little Ocmulgee State Park’s well-stocked freshwater lake is a paradise for sport fisherman and a great place for relaxing. It is abundant with bass, bluegill, crappie, bowfin, gar, pickerel, and catfish.
Families can take turns at some friendly competition at Little Ocmulgee’s all-ages mini-golf course. The course layout is modeled after the larger Wallace Adams Golf Course at the park.
The 2.6-mile Oak Ridge Trail Loop meanders through sand hills and along the lake shore. A boardwalk at the north end of the lake is an excellent spot for birdwatching.
Boating/Kayaking/Canoeing: Private boats and water skiing are permitted on Little Ocmulgee Lake. A concrete boat ramp is available. All boats must comply with the Georgia Boating Safety Law.
Swimming: A private pool is available 7 days a week to registered overnight guests. All park guests may access the sandy beach and the swimming area at Little Ocmulgee Lake.
